History

In a move to elevate our training capabilities, Henley Air Flight Training invested in cutting-edge flight simulation technology in 2018.

 

Our acquisition of the world's only fixed-based Bell 222 simulator underscores our commitment to offering the very best in flight simulation training. This state-of-the-art simulator, approved by the South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA), boasts advanced features such as 250º horizontal field of view graphic display, a fully-integrated autopilot, flight director and Garmin 530 GPS, RNAV capability, the latest X-Plane 11 software instalments, advanced weather system displays and extraordinary visual systems.

Enhancements made in March 2024 include the incorporation of 4K UHD laser projectors, aiming to elevate the training experience to unprecedented levels of realism and fidelity.
